We're done! ALMOST done!
After 18 days of scorching shoots at Tondo and open fields, seq breakdowns/clusters that get eternally revised, and evil fumes that seem to eat up our lungs...We finally heard the much-anticipated "It's a wrap!" This has been my longest project so far, starting unofficially in 2009 December and still ongoing. I learned a lot of do's and dont's, met a lot of talented people, and had a fair share of fun and f*ck-up's.
We headed to Laguna for an immediate wrap-up party. The pool was hardly noticeable with all the boys in it. My friend and I had to lock our room and hide under the bed when they started throwing anybody who's not drenched into the water, heedless of what's on the victim's person. They got us anyway, but at least we got to change into our suits. We had a lot of booze and lechon. (Hello cholesterol) Most of the cast came, even RS (supplier) boys joined us.
After a brunch of sinigang and our PM's cookies, everyone headed home and get damn good sleep. Everyone except me and my friend Ms.Bagong-gahasa (Ms.BG)....We dropped off some stuff home and went straight to editing.
So there, we're onto Post.
And now I can't count the hours we've stayed in the editing room, what with all the footage, limited TRT, indecisiveness, and dissenting opinions that compel us to re-edit every now and then. I remember we went four days straight for a time, raced down the stairs on our bottoms in moments of madness, and are now good friends with the editor. We re-edit again tomorrow, and beyond.
